Since we are going to be starting T11 soon - I figured now is a good time to have people start learning or at least go over the strategy involved in T11. This one is going to be Pat's favorite.

First off please read this - T11 Guide

Phase 1

Tank and spank phase - just do the mechanics and we should be fine.

Some key mechanics we will have to spend some time learning are

NERVE GAS - Avoidable conal breath attacks that always go the same direction, see the diagram below. Hits for 2-3k and gives the target a vulnerability debuff (~10% more damage) which lasts for 1 minute.

The diagram below is actually for the last phase of the fight - but the very first 2 steps is basically how phase 1 nerve should work basically.

BAROFIELD – At 85% the boss creates a circular field that fills its targeting circle. Stepping into the box applies Heavy for 15 seconds and a vulnerability debuff which lasts for 1 minute. This one is really easy - just don't walk into the boss's hitbox.

HEAD – Approximately 83%, 73% and 63% the boss will stun the main tank and begin casting Secondary Head. Secondary head applies a debuff that increases the damage of the boss’s Primary Head ability. The boss must be taunted while Secondary Head is cast so the Main Tank receives the debuff and the Off Tank takes the Primary Head ability (hits ~6-7k unmitigated on a Warrior, CDs highly recommended). - Should be straight forward, minor tank swap.

MISSILES/GASEOUS BOMB – The boss will periodically cast two abilities sequentially. Missiles then Gaseous, or Gaseous then Missiles. When missiles are cast first, you will see two puffs of orange smoke shoot upwards from the boss. The missiles randomly target two members and do splash damage to those around them (~3-4k). The gaseous bomb is visually cued by a puff of blue smoke and functions the same as Turn 8 and must be divided amongst the group. - Hey look Turn 8 mechanics have returned! Basically if you see ORANGE smoke then everyone SPREADS out. then after missiles hit STACK back up again. If you see BLUE smoke first then stay STACKED up, then spread out after gaseous bomb hits. Easy.

Phase 2

Boss will start off moving to the center to spawn the adds, make sure you aren't in her path when she starts moving.

Adds and their abilities are as follows

SPHERE
REPELLING CANNONS – Point blank AOE that must have damage split. No cast timer, visual cue is the sphere opens up.
Every auto attack is a frontal cleave.
Spawns to the Northeast of the room.

CUBE
VOID ZONE – Summons a slowing void zone just like the trash before Turn 2. No cast timer, visual cue is black orbs spiraling out of the cube.
Every auto attack is a frontal cleave and a critical hit (1800-2000 dmg). The Paladin cross-class ability Awareness is very useful.
Doesn't melee attack, probably better for a Warrior to tank it as its damage is not reduced by Rage of Halone.
Takes greatly reduced physical damage (~50%)
Spawns to the Northwest of the room.

EGG
FORKED LIGHTNING – Targets a random party member with Forked Lightning. Basically the same as Thunder from Turn 9. No cast timer, visual cue is lightning emanating from the egg.
Immune to ranged attacks unless standing in melee range.
Spawns to the South of the room.

Based on the various abilities the adds have - the main one that will be giving us problems is THUNDERSTRUCK - i mean forked lightning which the same thing as in T9. And its handled in the same way - no cast time, there is a visual cue from the egg if you can see supposely. Basically watch your debuff bar and get away before it explodes otherwise its a wipe if it happens on the sphere group.

Seereus, Sarah, Anu, Ragnar, and Oracle on the Sphere

Ryo, and Aodhan on the cube

I will be healing Ryo, and dps'ing the cube when able to. Ragnar also should be dotting up the cube as well.

Once both the sphere & cube die at the same time - everyone will stack on the egg - with miamas and either blizzard 1 or stone 1 the egg will be slowed and we will proceed to burn it down. Once its dead - everyone stacks in melee range on the boss and oracle will need to get Dragon kick up ASAP so we can survive the nerve cloud damage. We only have about 8 seconds to get these abilities up along with sacred soil, virus and succor. The main tank should position themselves away from the raid as the boss will auto-attack cleave about 1 second after the Nerve Cloud does damage as well.

End of phase 2

Begin Phase 3 FUN! 60% to 0

*** Just going to copy and paste the guide strategy in here till we actually reach this part and can evaluate the situation and figure out what will work best for us ***

STRATEGY
Phase III is basically Phase I except the Nerve Gas rotations must be managed differently. There are many methods of dealing with nerve gas and tethers, but we found the following method to be the most consistent.

Generally, the critical part of this strategy is that no matter where the boss turns and targets his first breath, the two tether groups most dodge and position themselves to the direct left and right of the boss. If this is done correctly, one group will be inside the second breath but will only need to move slightly to the left or right to dodge the second breath. Then to dodge the third breath, both groups dodge in the direction opposite the second breath. As soon as the cast completes, the highlighted area will be safe to move into, so you can move early in anticipation of the third breath.

BOSS TURNS TO TARGET + FIRST BREATH
TETHERED PAIRS HEAD TO BOSS LEFT AND RIGHT
SECOND BREATH GOES OUT
DODGE SLIGHTLY LEFT OR SLIGHTLY RIGHT
THIRD BREATH GOES OUT
DODGE BACK THE WAY YOU CAME
